(infants to approx. age 2/when potty-trained)
We count it a privilege to invite infants and toddlers to worship with their parents in the main service. However, we also make a Parent and Toddler Room available where parents can engage their little ones in more active play when needed. A Bluetooth speaker provides the audio of the worship service to allow parents to stay connected even while they care for their children.

During the first half of our worship, preschoolers and elementary-aged children worship with their families in our service; and then just prior to the sermon, they are dismissed to classes specially designed to nurture them in their spiritual growth.
We believe that River Kids Preschool (ages 3/potty-trained – 5) has a unique opportunity to shape a child’s first learning experience in church. We want our preschoolers to know they are special because God made them and that He wants a relationship with them. Nothing is more important for a young child to know than beginning to understand who God is. To keep our learning relevant and on a preschooler’s level, we create an active, hands-on learning environment with l-o-t-s of movement to match their attention spans and social needs.
As children move into River Kids Elementary, we strive to help them know they can trust God no matter what and how to make wise choices as they grow in their faith. One of our goals is for children to know that the Bible is relevant for their lives NOW. We believe the Bible should never be boring, so it’s taught in ways that are creative, easy to understand and definitely filled with tons of kid-like energy!
“My child, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart.” (Prov. 3:1)
