Stephen Covey said lots of great and important things: “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” “Most of us spend too much time on what is urgent and not enough time on what is important.” “The way we see the problem is the problem.” But my all-time favorite is: “Start with the end in mind.” The truth is, we have a good end in mind for you. It is the main thing we are trying to do here at RE, and we want you to understand what it is because if you don’t . . . well, that’s a problem. So, what is this end? We are custom-making disciples. It’s what we are called to do. The main thing now is starting.
